Mrs. Indira Lachhimasyu, born on August 23, 1983, in Bhaktapur, Nepal, is a pioneering musician and educator in the field of Newari traditional music and instruments. With a journey that began in 1995, Indira has dedicated her life to safeguarding and promoting the intangible cultural heritage of the Newar community in Bhaktapur. She holds a Bachelor of Education from Sharada Campus, Tribhuvan University, earned in 2009.
