Jang Sang-yook Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Sangyuk Jang has dedicated himself to fostering meaningful connections among people under the guiding belief, “Be like a pine tree that endures, rather than a fleeting blossom.” He has served as a trusted bridge between culture and community, embodying both warmth and commitment in his work. A Taekwondo instructor and a graduate in visual design, he brings together artistic sensibility and a strong sense of social responsibility. He currently serves as Director of Business Operations, overseeing the practical implementation of the World Intangible Heritage Network (WIN) initiatives.Mr. Jang is also the CEO of The New Company and Jinpyeong & Cheongin, where he has led regional cultural industries and built networks among small business owners through event and party space planning projects. He has actively contributed to community development as Secretary-General of the Siheung Senior Model Association, and as an executive member of the Disabled Bowling Association and various civic organizations. In addition, he serves as an instructor at the Carnegie and Korea University of Science and Technology lifelong education programs, while remaining actively engaged in Rotary and Lions Club activities, festival committees, and future strategy forums across both public and private sectors. Particularly recognized for his work in education, lectures, and networking for entrepreneurs and small business owners, Mr. Jang is regarded as a communicator who delivers practical knowledge and field-based insights with clarity and impact. In the World Intangible Heritage Network initiatives, he plays a key operational role in connecting international cultural exchange with local cultural ecosystems, contributing to the realization of Culture Masters’ vision to develop cities into global hubs of intangible cultural heritage.
